Are We Alone in the Universe?

Physicist Enrico Fermi's question, "But where is everybody?" is one of today's most critical scientific questions. According to the Fermi paradox, there are numerous stars similar to our Sun in the universe, and these stars may have circumstellar habitable zones with Earth-like planets. Most of these stars are older than the Sun. In these Earth-like exoplanets, there may be intelligent life forms.
